How Much Do We Love The Internal Colours?

So much.  Then a little bit more.  We could not be happier with how the internal colours turned out.

Even after we were pretty darn pleased with the exterior colour, the interior did not disappoint.

Dulux’s Flooded Gum against a crisp, fresh white looks just amazing.  In hindsight, we don’t believe we actually specified a shade of white.  If you’ve ever tried to choose a white from a board of swatches, you’ll know there are about a gazillion and one different shades.  We simply asked that the painter choose a fresh white that would offset the grey.  The painter chose very well, indeed.

Later on, we will add some wainscoting, or an additional, thicker border of skirting in the same white to really make it stand out.

The flooring is tentatively set to be laid in the next day or two, and we cannot wait to find out how it all ties in.

Just hangin’ about, getting painty and DIY-ey. Chilling with the kidlets and my amazing husband, playing with hair as a career. Couldn’t really get much better.

I love to make, do and create, and share what I’ve learned along the way. Also love hearing other people’s experiences, so share away!
